She/ Her/ Hers

I am a classically trained Mezzo Soprano and a Saxophonist by trade. I have had the pleasure of performing in various vocal competitions, at Carnegie Hall under the Direction of John Rutter, and for friends and family over the years. I spent 20 years playing alto or tenor saxophone with the Philadelphia Mummers with the Crean/Burke String Band, The Original Trilby String Band, and the Hegeman String Band. I have also had the immense joy of working with Under The Sun Productions on the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parades, National Memorial Day Parades, National Cherry Blossom Festivals, and the Welcome America Fourth of July Parades. I have recently stepped away from Mummery, parade production, and performing for an extended maternity leave. I am a proud mother to three precocious and active kids.

I am a huge believer in the power of music as an educational tool and as a method of emotional expression. I feel that music is vital to people of all ages and Philly Music Lessons is such an amazing team making it accessible to the community. I am so proud to be a part of it!
