More on Baby Music Classes for Fishtown and Northern Liberties Kids

Introducing newborns, babies, and toddlers to music!

Free Mommy and Baby Music Classes Begin – Today, we successfully held our first two baby classes at our Fishtown studio!  Turnout was great, making for two highly entertaining morning sessions.  Newborns nursed, listened, and played, while busy toddlers danced around to tunes while tapping on instruments.   A lovely 5 year girl old stopped by with her mom and baby sister, carting her awesome purple guitar!  She and the others (those of walking age, at least) skipped around during circle games and made the class a real treat to teach.  I couldn’t resist celebrating the morning with an ice cream cone from Little Baby’s down the street.

This music class was the first of many that we will hold throughout the summer.  While we welcome Philly Music Lesson’s new presence in the community (2111 E Susquehanna Ave), all classes in June are free.  Come July, we will establish regular days and times (and specify age groups) so that parents, caregivers, and youngsters can make a weekly habit of music!  Continue to look out for free music classes later in the summer and on select weekends.  In the meantime, join us again for some more FREE FUN next Wednesday, the 11th, Saturday the 14th, and Wednesday the 18th.  Just drop in! Class times are at 9am and 10 am and are open to all babies and kids ages 0-5 years.  Hope to see you soon!
