When did you begin guitar Instrument, and why?

I was about 9. I saw a revolution happening and I wanted to be a part of it!

What other instruments do you play, and what is your experience with them?

Piano, since about the same time. I’ve played professionally and taught a lot.

What are your personal goals as a musician?

Make more albums (I’m on my 7th), grow as a player and composer.

Do you have a memory of a time when a musical concept or technique really clicked?  Something you’ll remember forever?

It’s all kind of a blur now; but when I learned how to sweep pick on guitar it felt powerful.

What is your favorite piece of advice from one of your past (or current) teachers?

What was your most challenging moment learning an instrument

Building my left hand on piano.

What is your biggest musical achievement?

My albums once I started self producing them.

What is a piece of advice you would like to share with anyone learning music?

It’s extremely tough at first, pushing through the sore fingers and fried brain is hard, but it’s worth it.
