Voice Lessons
I took weekly voice lessons here for about a year. Great facility and instructors, easy online portal for scheduling and tracking. Highly recommended!

Voice Lessons
My experience signing up for and taking singing lessons at Philly Music Lessons was great all around. The school paired me up with a teacher promptly based on my needs, and it was easy to correspond with the school regarding scheduling, billing, etc. My lessons with Marcelle were also great. As an adult who has never taken singing lessons before, Marcelle made me feel comfortable, our lessons were always engaging and informative, and I made noticeable progress in the four months together.

Voice Lessons
I have been greatly enjoying my singing lessons! We had to switch to online lessons, but it was an easy transition to make and it is working out better than expected. Melanie is a fantastic voice instructor and I feel like I've gotten a lot out of the experience.

ABOUT OUR VOICE TEACHERS
A trained voice teacher is an invaluable tool for singers of all levels, and we have some amazing teachers who can provide a solid technical basis and bring out your innate musicality. Our voice teachers are all familiar with teaching foundational vocal technique, necessary for healthy production of sound, and can help students at a variety of levels bring their singing to the next level and beyond. We have teachers trained in a variety of styles, including opera/classical, musical theater, jazz, blues, soul, rock, pop and more. They are equipped to help students of all levels develop healthy breathing, solid tone, and accurate intonation, and then to develop musicality and expressivity. We will work with you to determine what your needs and goals are, and use that information to pair you with one of our teachers for lessons in the studio or your home. We offer a half-price trial lesson so that you can see whether or not a teacher is a good fit for you! View our teachers and their bios below to see what we have to offer.

LESSONS FOR CHILDREN
Because of the nature of the voice as a growing and changing instrument, we only teach voice lessons to ages 10 and up. For children younger than 10, we suggest beginning with piano with an emphasis on singing. This allows children to develop their understanding of music without putting unnecessary strain on a young voice. Many of the beginner piano songs and books even have words to sing along! A good deal of our piano teachers also have a background in various styles of singing. You can view our piano teachers and their bios here.
