Ukulele Lessons
Covid-19 can’t stop Joyce from ukulele practice. @phillymusiclessons is offering virtual lessons and Joyce was thrilled to still be able to see her teacher Collin this week!

Cello Lessons
I decided to take cello lessons this past Fall as a way to find discipline and to work my brain - I was also looking for a positive distraction during the pandemic, and learning cello had been a childhood dream of mine! The process of getting set up with lessons was super pleasant. My teacher, Ellen, is awesome! Online lessons have actually been a blessing for now, as I’m a mom and have so little time! Easy to pop onto my lesson and off. I think it’s part of why I’ve been able to really stick with lessons this time around. Our lessons are very efficient!

Piano Lessons
I love Philly Music Lessons! I am based in Los Angeles and I meet once a week virtually with my piano teacher, who is awesome. I have noticed a huge improvement in my skill during a very short period of time. Perfect for these stay-at-home times.

Voice Lessons
I have been greatly enjoying my singing lessons! We had to switch to online lessons, but it was an easy transition to make and it is working out better than expected. Melanie is a fantastic voice instructor and I feel like I've gotten a lot out of the experience.

Piano Lessons
My daughter started piano lessons when she was 3 years old and Teacher Rick was extremely patient with her even with her short attention span. Even during this difficult time with the pandemic, Philly Music Lessons took all the cautions seriously and quickly turned around to virtual lessons which we had no problem with and the transition was great. I would highly recommend to parents who would like to start music lessons for their kids!

Violin Lessons
I am an adult learner, studying the violin for about 4 years with Stef Emery. Stef is a patient and encouraging teacher, full of enthusiasm for your progress. She understands the challenges for an adult learner, and is full of advice as to how to get the most out of your available practice time, as well as practical solutions for progressing with a piece. The PML operation is efficient, flexible and accommodating, and the transition to online learning through the last year was surprisingly effective.

Flute Lessons
I started my flute lesson with Ms. Emily Stewart at PML in February 2020. I had a chance to have about a month of in-person lessons before we switched to Skype due to the pandemic. I am very happy with the quality of the lessons and the quick response of the PML team to my inquiries. Highly recommended, even for adults who are looking to pick up a new instrument!
