Binnara Park

I teach Flute and Piano. I moved to the Philadelphia many years ago from Seoul, South Korea and have been so fortunate to have had the opportunity to study music in the United States. I have always been involved in music from a very young age. I began playing the piano at age 5, and picked up the flute and violin around age 10. Although I played these instruments from a young age, it was not until I was much older that I chose music as my career. In 2011 I moved to Philadelphia to begin my undergraduate studies at Temple University. I recently graduated from the same school with my Master’s Degree in flute performance, and am now building my career as both a performer and teacher. I have had such incredible music teachers over the course of my musical career, and hope to provide the same level of care and instruction to my own students. - Read More About Binnara

Gabe Preston

I teach Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Oboe, Bassoon. Born and raised in the Philly area, I am a woodwind multi-instrumentalist and composer currently finishing the master's program in music at Temple University. While I primarily studied classical repertoire throughout middle/high school and early in college at Temple, I eventually peaked an interest in jazz to the point where I switched my major during freshman year of college. In general, I'm open to playing all styles of music, and I always try to prepare my students to be able to play as many styles of music as possible, through emphasis on being able to play with a convincing sound and sense of rhythm, as well as other important basic concepts.
