Jazz & Classical

I recently graduated from Temple University with a BM in Clarinet Performance, where I studied clarinet with Sam Caviezel (Philadelphia Orchestra), saxophone with Matt Levy (Prism Quartet), and woodwind doubling and jazz with Ed Joffe (Broadway).  I am currently working as a freelance clarinet, saxophone, and flute player and have performed in many of the top theaters in Philadelphia, including the Arden Theatre Company, Bristol Riverside Theatre, Delaware Theatre Company, 11th Hour Theatre Company, and the Media Theatre.  I am equally passionate about all of the instruments I perform on, as well as the varied styles that appear in musical theater (classical, jazz, commercial, etc.).  My teaching philosophy is that the process directly influences the result, so I like to focus on developing good practicing habits and developing a genuine love of music.  In addition to woodwinds, I also studied piano and enjoy the instrument quite a bit!
